men’s basketball.
The sport is having a moment and IU Athletics wants to capitalize on the growth of the sport.
In the most recent NCAA attendance report for volleyball, IU was #26 among all D1 teams for
average attendance per game.
An average of 1,366 fans came to watch IU matches in Wilkinson Hall in 2022. The venue fits 3,000, so on average, the building is half empty. By comparison, Perdue averages 2,300 fans per match. Hoosier fans can do better.
